Explore Certificate OptionsI am very grateful to Foothill College and the faculty in the Photography Department for all they have taught me about photography. I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer, and much of what I know about composition, editing, and seeing light was through their instruction and mentoring. The staff has always had the time to answer questions, view and critique my work, and offer guidance to enable me to move to the next level.
I transferred from De Anza to here with Mathematics major in the spring quarter. I met amazing professors and mentors here. I also found my second family at the BIPOC center. I got amazing coworkers and supervisors. I met a lot of people and had a lot of new experiences that shaped my journey. I really appreciate everything Foothill has offered me.
Foothill College felt like a small, private school with a close-knit community. The disability office was always there to provide support whenever I needed it. During my final year at Foothill, I was an active member of the student government, which made the year unforgettable. It was filled with making new friends, attending classes, and participating in student government meetings. Having a physical disability, I initially felt nervous about the zipline, but my fellow students encouraged me to face my fears. Foothill College gave me leadership skills that continue to benefit me to this day. Thank you for all the incredible memories!
