How to Clear a Hold
If you are restricted from registering for a class due to a hold on your student account, please confirm your hold type.
Check Hold Type MyPortal
- Log in to MyPortal.
- SELECT Apps from menu.
- Under Students, SELECT Student Registration.
- Under Registration Tools (Classic Version), CLICK View Holds.
- Note which type of hold is on your account.
Contact the Appropriate Office to Clear Hold

- Academic Probation
- Financial Aid
- Cashier's Office
- Admissions & Records
- Student Affairs
- Library Note: Contact Circulation Desk
Note: Holds may be from De Anza, if you've attend both colleges.
