How to Get Your Transcripts Evaluated
- You must be currently enrolled in at least one Foothill College course.
- You must have completed at least six (6) Foothill College units.
- All official transcripts must already be on file.
Evaluated coursework may count toward general education, major requirements, or other degree/breadth requirements. Approved transfer credits will appear in DegreeWorks. Processing may take up to 45 days and may be longer during peak periods.
If you don’t meet the eligibility requirements yet, you can still meet with a counselor. They can provide a short, preliminary review of your transcripts to help you plan your next steps until you qualify for an official Transcript Evaluation request.

Transcript Evaluations
Apply coursework or exam credits completed outside Foothill College toward your academic progress at Foothill.
Foothill can evaluate U.S. transcripts from regionally accredited colleges and universities. Your completed courses will be reviewed to determine whether they meet Foothill’s course equivalency, satisfy general education requirements (local GE, IGETC, CSU Breadth), or fulfill major coursework. After your evaluation is processed, any approved transfer credits will be added to DegreeWorks.

International credits require a course-by-course evaluation from a recognized credential agency (e.g., WES). The agency must send the evaluation directly to Foothill Admissions & Records. A counselor will determine how the coursework applies. Request a Foreign Transcript Evaluation by contacting Counseling.
Once we have received your request it will be processed in the order received.
Please allow up to 45 days from the time of submitting for it to be processed before attempting to register. Processing times may increase during peak seasons.
