Schedule a Tour of the TTW Program
Schedule a Tour of the Tools for Transition & Work (TTW) Program
Why We Start With a Tour
TTW is designed for a specific kind of student: someone who is ready to grow, capable of greater independence, and likely to benefit from a structured and supportive college-based environment.
Because of that, a tour is not just a formality. It is an important part of helping students, families, educators, and support teams decide whether TTW is the right fit.
A tour gives you the chance to see the environment, get a feel for the pace and expectations of the program, and ask real questions about what success in TTW looks like.
Tours are meant to be informative, welcoming, and low-pressure. The goal is simply to help you decide whether TTW feels like the right next step.
In-Person Tours

We offer in-person tours for individuals or groups, including students, families, high school staff, or any combination of the three.
Our standard tour usually runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., though we do our best to be flexible when needed. In some cases, we can also arrange tours outside the usual schedule.
- A classroom visit
- A walking tour of campus
- A presentation about the program
- A Q&A session with program staff and, when possible, current students
- Optional lunch in the Foothill Dining Hall
Tours are one of the best ways to understand what TTW actually feels like. You will see the campus, learn about expectations, and get a much clearer sense of whether the program is a good fit.
Virtual Meetings

Cannot make it to campus? That is completely fine.
We also offer Zoom meetings tailored to your needs. Whether you are a parent with a few questions, a student wondering what the schedule looks like, or a counselor supporting multiple students, we are happy to meet virtually.
We can also host Zoom Q&A sessions for school teams, transition programs, or groups of families.
School Visits and Community Events
We occasionally visit schools, fairs, and community events to share more about TTW.
If you are organizing a transition fair, parent night, staff meeting, or similar event and would like a TTW representative to attend or host a booth, please reach out.
Before You VisitWe recommend parking in Lot 6, the closest visitor lot to the TTW classrooms and the Disability Resource Center. Foothill’s campus can be a little confusing the first time through, so we created a short video showing how to follow the campus ring road and find the correct parking lot. How to Find Lot 6 at Foothill College Once you park, the TTW classroom is just a short walk away in Room 5419.
