The Foothill College Transfer Center is here to guide and support you through every stage of your transfer journey, from exploring university options and building an academic plan to completing your applications with confidence.

The mission of the Foothill College Transfer Center is to provide comprehensive resources and services that expand transfer opportunities for all students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. We strive to help students meet their transfer goals and uphold Foothill College’s mission of providing equitable access to outstanding educational opportunities for every student.

Our team provides hands-on help with UC, CSU, and private university applications, as well as personalized assistance in crafting strong UC Personal Insight Questions (PIQs) and compelling college essays that reflect your goals and experiences. Whether you’re just beginning to plan or ready to apply, we’re dedicated to helping you make a smooth and successful transition to a four-year university.

• Guidance with UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) and Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT).

• Resources for exploring universities and majors.
• Student-focused transfer activities and events.

Each fall, the Transfer Center and Counseling Center provide application assistance and resources to help students complete their university applications. The Writing and Language Center also offers support with UC Personal Insight Questions and essays during this time.
