Foothill College partners with Follett Higher Education Group to operate the Foothill
Campus Bookstore. Students can purchase textbooks, required course materials, school
supplies, Foothill gear, and technology through the online store. Financial aid and
select campus programs may be used for eligible purchases. Store hours, services,
and availability may vary each term.

All ordering is done online, with options for in-store pickup, shipping, rentals,
financial aid purchases, and buyback services. Use the information below to find answers
to common questions about ordering, returns, shipping, and available services.
The Foothill Campus Bookstore provides in-person service for online order pickup,
general shopping, and textbook buyback during scheduled periods. Hours change by term,
so refer to the bookstore website for the latest information.
Students can access course materials through the Follett tile in MyPortal, which displays
textbooks for enrolled classes. Materials may also be searched by term, department,
course, and section directly on the bookstore website. New, used, rental, and digital
formats are available.
Supplies, apparel, and accessories are available to order online. Inventory updates
regularly, and items may vary depending on the season and availability.
Yes. The bookstore offers a rotating selection of tech accessories and devices. Availability
depends on vendor supply and current stock.
Most adopted textbooks are available to rent. A valid credit or debit card is required
as collateral. Rental terms and return deadlines are provided during checkout and
in your confirmation email.
Eligible financial aid—such as EOPS textbook vouchers, Foothill College Promise funds,
and other approved aid types—can be applied at checkout. Students typically need their
ID number to complete a financial-aid purchase. Pell Grant funds should generally
be used only after other bookstore-eligible aid.
Gift cards and eGift cards are available through the bookstore website. Physical cards
may also be available for purchase in store.
Orders are shipped via UPS or USPS, depending on the items. Tracking information is
sent by email once your order ships. Delivery time depends on item availability and
shipping location.
Yes. The bookstore offers shipping to P.O. boxes and international destinations. Details
are listed in the shipping section of the bookstore website.
Delivery times vary based on fulfillment location, product availability, and shipping
method. Many orders arrive within a few business days in the Bay Area, but timelines
may differ.
A receipt or packing slip is required for all returns. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Course materials must be returned before the campus-specific deadline or within seven
business days if purchased after that date. Items purchased during finals week or
the last week of classes are not refundable.
Unopened computer hardware and software may be returned within 14 days. Shipped returns
must be postmarked within that timeframe. Contact the bookstore if assistance is needed.
Most unopened merchandise in original condition can be returned within 30 days. Gift
cards cannot be refunded.
Online buyback is available year-round through the bookstore website. In-person buyback
is offered during designated periods announced each term.
Permanent bookstore positions are listed in the Follett Career Center. Seasonal and
temporary openings, especially during peak academic periods, are posted on folletthiring.com.
