Foothill serves northern Santa Clara County, educating more than 13,000 students at our main Los Altos Hills and Sunnyvale Center campuses, online and at many community and industry sites each quarter (based on Fall 2024 student headcount of 13,625 (-4% change from prior year) and 2023-2024 annual 10,006 FTES (+8% change from prior year).

Foothill College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Our accreditation was reaffirmed for 18 months in January 2025 after the completion of a comprehensive self-study in December of 2023 and site evaluation team visit on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1, 2024.
