Interest FormWhy Study Psychology
Psychology is a dynamic field that seeks to help people thrive and live healthy lives. The Foothill psychology department supports student-centered learning opportunities grounded in ethical practices. We value the lived experiences of both students and faculty in the exploration of how we learn, how the brain and nervous system function, and how we heal and recover from trauma and mental illness. Our psychology program offers AA and AA-T degrees as well as access to research internships, professional conferences, and peer clubs. Our goal is to help prepare students to advance social and mental health justice.
