Hands-On Creative and Fabrication Space on Campus
The KCI Makerspace is a hands-on creative and fabrication space located on the lower level of Building 4000. It provides students, faculty, staff, and community members with access to tools, equipment, and training to design, prototype, and build using a wide range of technologies. The Makerspace supports beginners and experienced makers alike, offering guidance from idea development through final project execution.

Makerspace Programs
The Makerspace supports Foothill programs such as the Research and Service Leadership Symposium, Innovation Challenge, and project-based courses. Faculty can also bring classes in for demonstrations, workshops, or guided project sessions.
To use the space, you must be enrolled at Foothill College for the current term. Signing in at the Makerspace will automatically enroll you in one of the free, noncredit LINC courses required for access. New users will need a CWID and a KCI scheduling account to reserve training and equipment.
Krause Center for InnovationThe Krause Center for Innovation supports educators, students, and community members through innovative programs, technology training, and creative spaces designed to inspire learning and problem solving. The Makerspace is one of the KCI’s core resources for hands-on exploration and skill development. |
