About the Digital and Illustration Focus
The Foothill College Art Program with an emphasis in Digital & Illustration is geared toward students with a variety of skill levels. In this emphasis, students take digital painting, color theory, as well as illustration and digital classes to enhance their portfolios for transfer into art and illustration programs, build life digital, color and design skills, find their voice, and be part of a community of artists.

Drawing Facilities and Rooms
Rooms 1601, 1801, and the Idea Lab provide students enrolled in the digital and illustration emphasis access to the following facilities:
- IDEA Computer Lab
- Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 digital tablets
- Drafting tables
- Large art design tables
- Light tables
Degrees & Certificates
Earn an Associate in Arts (AA) in Art or a Certificate of Achievement (CA) in Art — with an emphasis in digital and illustration.

Quick Look at Digital and Illustration Courses
The digital and illustration credit courses provide a welcoming community with classes on weekdays, as well as hybrid and online options. Each course consists of 6 hours per week, with plenty of open lab time for assignments and technique refinement.
