Faculty Guide to Accommodated Testing
Managing Accommodated Testing in Clockwork
Faculty play a key role in supporting students who use accommodated testing. Through the Faculty Clockwork Portlet in MyPortal, instructors can review and approve accommodation letters, manage testing appointments, and submit exams and exam rules to ensure proper proctoring. This page outlines the essential steps and responsibilities to help you navigate the process efficiently and in compliance with Testing & Assessment Center procedures.

Clockwork User Guides
Foothill’s Accommodated Testing program ensures students with approved accommodations receive fair, supportive testing conditions through coordinated efforts between the TAC, DRC, faculty, and students. Accommodations may include extended time, low-distraction or private rooms, assistive technology, and other approved supports tailored to each student’s needs.
The Clockwork User Guide explains how Foothill College faculty and staff use Clockwork to manage accommodated testing for DRC students. It outlines the quarterly steps students must take to qualify for accommodations, lists TAC locations and contacts, and details student responsibilities such as booking exams three business days in advance (or seven days for finals).
