Build a Skilled Career in HVAC Through a Registered Apprenticeship

Launch your career in HVAC & refrigeration through Foothill College’s five-year registered apprenticeship program, developed in partnership with the Pipe Trades Training Center and UA Local 467. This program combines paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction to prepare you for working on advanced HVAC systems across hospitals, skyscrapers, manufacturing facilities, and research labs.

Benefits and Features Include:

  • Earn an Associate in Science (AS) degree or a Certificate of Achievement (CA) while gaining hands-on experience.
  • Train to service, analyze, maintain, and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration equipment of all sizes and capacities.

  • Meet growing industry demand driven by California’s focus on energy conservation and certifications such as LEED and TABB.

  • Enrollment is limited to apprentices registered with the California Division of Apprenticeship Standards, ensuring industry-quality training and standards compliance.

Earn an Associate in Science (AS) degree or Certificate of Achievement (CA) through Foothill College’s Plumbing and Pipefitting Apprenticeship Program. This program combines classroom instruction with paid, on-the-job training to prepare students for careers in plumbing, pipefitting, and HVAC service within residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
