Agendas will be posted in the Public Files below, as well as physically outside the meeting room, at least 72 hours before the meeting. Minutes will be available in the Public Files below 96 hours after the meeting.

Activities Board Responsibilities

To develop and recommend to the ASFC Campus Council such legislation, policies, codes, regulations, ASFC activities, and declarations as may be necessary to effectively implement, develop and coordinate ASFC activities and programs in the areas of ASFC Events and Activities Planning, Organization, Marketing, Media and Communications.
Activities Board is responsible for hosting and planning events such as New Student Orientation, Heritage Series, Campus events/socials, holiday events, and Graduation/Commencement either both in-person and virtually.
Thursdays 4 p.m.- 5 p.m. in 2014 Student Government Activities Room.
- Serve as the chief executive officer of the ASFC Activities Board of Directors.
- Serve as a voting member of the ASFC Campus Council.
- Be a member of the President's Cabinet.
- Be an Ex-officio voting member of all Commissions, Committees, and agencies, which are represented on the ASFC Activities Board of Directors.
- Assume such other duties as may devolve to their office, or may be assigned to their office by the ASFC Campus Council or the President's Cabinet.
- Activities Secretary — CLOSED
Records minutes and manages the calendar for the Activities Board. Acts as the Activities Board Secretary and works closely with the Vice President of Activities. - Activities Event Coordinator (2) — CLOSED
Helps plan events outside of the Heritage Month series. Coordinates holiday events, mental-health awareness events during finals, and on-campus socials. Assists with events both on and off campus. - Heritage Month Coordinator (2) — CLOSED
Works with staff and faculty to plan monthly heritage events, planning at least six weeks in advance. Chairs or supports Heritage Month meetings. Assists in coordinating Heritage Month committees. Must be present during all College Hour events and help with decoration, setup, and cleanup. Assists with events both on and off campus. - Activities Finance Director — CLOSED
Attends Budget Commission meetings. Meets weekly with the ASFC Accountant. Provides budget updates at Activities Board meetings. - Activities Marketing Director — CLOSED
Works closely with the Administration Board and the Design Center to create promotional materials for upcoming events. Requires proficiency in media editing tools such as Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and social media apps. Distributes and posts marketing materials, including flyers and posters, on and around campus. - Sunnyvale Center Event Coordinator
Plans events at the Sunnyvale Center Campus, preferably as a student of the Sunnyvale Center. Coordinates with the Sunnyvale Center Adult Education Program Coordinator. Plans holiday events, mental-health awareness events during finals, and on-campus socials. Assists with events both on and off campus. Represents online students and the online population.
