Agendas will be posted in the Public Files below, as well as physically outside the meeting room, at least 72 hours before the meeting. Minutes will be available in the Public Files below 96 hours after the meeting.

Finance Board Responsibilities

To develop and recommend to the ASFC Campus Council such legislation, policies, codes, regulations, ASFC activities, and declarations as may be necessary to effectively implement, develop and coordinate ASFC activities and programs in the areas of Marketing, OwlCard Benefits, Elections, Legislation, Public Relations, Campus Center, Technology, and conduct general ASFC office administration.
Tuesdays 2 p.m.– 4 p.m. in 2019 Council Chambers
- Serve as the chief executive officer of the Finance Board of Directors
- Assume the duties of president in the absence of the ASFC President
- Serve as a voting member of the ASFC Campus Council.
- Be a member of the President's Cabinet.
- Be an ex-officio voting member of all commissions, committees and agencies represented on the ASFC Finance Board of Directors.
- Assume other duties as may devolve to his/her office, or as amy be assigned to his/her office by the ASFC Campus Council or the President's Cabinet.
- Business Operations Specialist — CLOSED
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Attends all commissions and committee meetings under the Finance Board. Assumes the duties of the Vice President of Finance when that officer is absent, unless the Campus Council decides otherwise. Understands the history and current conditions of ASFC businesses. Visits ASFC businesses monthly to analyze financial reports, including revenue and expenses, and presents findings at Finance Board meetings before they are shared with Campus Council. Works with the Business Outreach Director to maintain records of OwlCard partnerships. - Budget Analyst (5) — CLOSED
Appointed Officers: Chandani Beasley, Devin Jekat, Arun Gottipati
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Attends all commissions and committee meetings under the Finance Board. Serves as a voting member of the Budget Commission. Meets weekly (less than one hour) with the ASFC Accountant or Student Accountants to gather historical data for each line item in the ASFC budget. Analyzes budgeted and actual expenses using Excel. Prepares a report for each line item and presents findings at Finance Board meetings before the budget deliberation process. Organizes all budget requests and Finance Board documents.
