Blockchain Technologies Lab

What is the Blockchain Lab?

Welcome to the Blockchain Lab, where you can explore what blockchain really means beyond the headlines. Whether you’re curious about distributed ledgers, crypto-privacy, smart contracts, or future-driven secure systems, this ETI  lab gives you hands-on access.

As part of ETI, Blockchain Lab sits alongside advanced-tech labs in AI, XR, Quantum, Energy and more , giving you the freedom to experiment, learn, and build across disciplines.

The AI Lab, along with 6 other Technology Labs, plus the ProtoLab (Prototype Lab), make up the Emerging Technologies Institute (ETI).

Blockchain Lab Location

STEM Center Room 4204

Inside the Blockchain Lab, you can:

  • Explore blockchain hardware and software, and get familiar with real tools and systems.

  • Test and tinker by building small blockchain projects, experimenting with smart contracts or decentralized apps, and seeking in real-time how theory becomes real data structures.

  • Work on campus projects or independent experiments that support blockchain-related coursework.

  • Collaborate on creative ideas with other students in the lab.

  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and demos.

  • Gain the chance to participate in exhibits and showcases at both the main campus and the Sunnyvale Center. Showcase your work or check out what others are creating.

  • Connect with advisors and mentors, ask questions, and get guidance as you explore the blockchain technology.
